Hawaii Kai is a community of Hawaii that began its existence during the 1960s by a world famous industrialist, an American named Henry J. Kaiser. Back then, Hawaii Kai was dubbed the "country area" and limited to a population of mostly farmers. Today, however, Hawaii Kai is now a leading suburb of Oahu. With its 12 mile distance from the downtown area of Honolulu, Hawaii Kai make accessibility to H-1 Freeway really easy.
